Just for fun part "DEAUX"
Two of the best things about living in Texas is my fun new dream house and our new friends- which of course include cousins! I'm not quite sure how Levi and Ty survived the first three years of their lives being a thousand miles apart but they are making up for it now. And everytime we head down the highway for a 2 1/2 hour drive as opposed to a 24 hour drive to see family I can't help but smile.
Don't let the sweetly posed picture fool you. Levi and cousin Madison honestly do get along great- while Titus and cousin Blake are "still learning" as we say!!
So far I'm 2 for 2 on Momma's boys.
Although Titus is technically a Momma/Daddy's boy.
Please note the Spiderman costume!!

and somehow we endedup with Duke.
He's definitely intimidating looking and he's real sweet with our other dog and the boys- but let's face it folks he's afraid of the ceiling fans. And I think he has memory issues because everytime we go out of town and come back it's like he's scared of us again. He was a rescue from the boxer association so who knows what happened to him. For probably the first month he was a dream dog/miracle worker because we put his crate in Levi's room and Levi actually would go to bed without a fit and stay in his own bed all night since he had a "roommate" in there. I suppose the magic of the newness has now worn off- because Levi is back in our bed around 3:00 every night and Duke starts this annoying howl thing every morning at 4:00. I'll save the fact that Duke has now start "relieving himself" in the house and how he makes a bolt for the front door everytime it's open for a later rant!!!
Several friends have asked for pictures of the inside of Gigantor:) One our favorite things is how the stairs are in the back of the hous and not right when you open the front door like most houses around here. This is a view from the living room looking into the eat in kitchen.
Here's a view from the living room looking into the front entrance. So far I've only decorated the living room and it looks exacctly like our Virginia living room with the black and white pictures hanigng in the stripe. What can I say at least I'm consistent with my interior decorating tastes. When we get done with all our travels I plan on decorating the rest of the house. I ordered some things for Seth's nursery which of course is baseball themed. And Levi got a cool life sized wall sticker (called a fathead) of Derek Jeter from Nanna and Poppy for Christmas. More pictures to come of all that!!
