Halloween and other festivities

Halloween 2007 was full of fun times had by all. I bought Levi an expensive Captain America costume with the cute puffy muscles- but when it came down to it he chose his Spiderman costume which is really more of an everyday wear outfit for him. Seriously- he wears it everyday everywhere we go- I'm sure you've noticed it in several of the above pictures. Sometimes we'll be at the grocery store and I'll wonder why everyone is grinning at us until I remember- oh yeah Levi is in his costume- it's just so normal for us now I don't even think about it. I used to love dressing him up in cute clothes but now he definitely wants to choose his look. If he's not wearing a costume then it's usually a shirt with some sort of number on it so he can "look like a baseball player." When he gets ready in the morning I just tell myself "this is a battle I choose not to fight" he can dress however he wants......and secretly I think it's pretty cute. I will let him win this battle as long he stays convinced that he has to wear "handsome shirts" to church. And when the teeenage years hit if there ever comes a time where we wants to get multiple piercings, wear black lipstick, and have purple hair- I think I might have to re-engage in the fight!!!

Halloween night

Here's the expensive Halloween costumes I bought that we're worn only briefly. Maybe next year I will learn that a full body suit of fleece forTitus is a little warm for a Texas Halloween! (But doesn't he make a cute Dragon!!!)
