I'm going crazy!!!!
Well, we are down to our last week here in Virginia and I'm not sure I'm gonna survive it! It's kind'ove a bummer that things are so stressful because I was hoping to enjoy our last little bit of time here but now I am just so ready to be done! Mostly it's just the stress of trying to sell the house and keeping it "show ready" at all times....with two little ones. I have vacummed my carpet on average twice a day for the past two weeks I can not believe there are any carpet fibers left in it!
And in Levi's defense, really it's Titus that is the biggest mess maker. Seriously yesterday in about 5 minutes time he had emptied my underwear drawer twice, climbed on top of the kitchen table, and stuck his hand in the toilet again!!!! The most frustrating thing is the climbing on the table- as long as I remember to close all the doors I can keep the other two things from happening- but we had to take the babygate down that closed of the kitchen because we've pretty much had at least one showing everyday the past two weeks. I'm excited the house is getting so much attention but man it's a pain to round up the kids, windex everything, drop our dog off at the neighbors, clean off everything from the countertops including soap, scrub brushes, and even the toaster, and then finally vacuum our way out of the house. We've gotten a system down where we can get it all down in about 20-30 minutes but that involves the boys sitting in the car for the last 5 minutes so they don't undo all our work. And it's definitely more doable when Cory is here to help, but right now he's actually in Houston hunting us down a glorious RV park to live in. Yep I said it- it's the home we all dream of- living in a camper. Cory thinks it's a shame that I'm not showing yet with this pregnancy- he just thinks it's funny to picture coming home from work with me barefoot and pregnant stading in the camper door with the two little ones at my feet! Just hilarious I know. :)
Anyways enough griping. I know I will survive. God has always taken care of us adn we are trying to do His will so why would he stop now right? Enjoy some random pictures below.
Cory and I did get one night of pure fun when we celebrated our 6th anniversary (late) with a Kenny Chesney concert. It was so much fun!!!!! I took this picture by zoming in with my camera on the screens he had on stage- we were definitely not this close!
This is a picture of the nice guy who pulled us out of the mud after we got stuck in it when trying to leave the cocert. His license plate read 350 HSPR and we were soooooo grateful!!
Still living happily ever after
This is Miss Betty- a super sweet lady from church who can make a mean pound cake and who also keeps the boys for me on the day I work. Tomorrow is her last day to keep them and she is already getting teary about it. We love her!!!
Here's me sporting my new haircut. When I got it done from my usual lady here I told her to make it a good cut becuase I would be taking a picture of it to show the hairdressers in Houston. About half-way through she said Uh-Oh as it got shorter and shorter. Oh well, I'm learning to fix it still. It's just hair right?!? :)

What's the official Houston-arrival date? I'm praying for you... lots. What's the best way for you to get mail down there? LOVE YOU!!
Wow, you're speedy! No wonder your head is spinning. Hang in there, my friend! My prayers are also with you.(P.S. I like your short hair. You're so sassy!)
1.) haircut... short or not, it is super-cute!
2.) house on the market with 2 little ones... bless you! I giggle as I picture the boys sitting in the car while you vacum your way out of the house!
3.) moving to TX... I cannot wait!
4.) leaving precious friends in virginia... moving is always bitter sweet!
5.) Titus' new trick and toilet dipping... I can totally relate! I am usually just thankful that bryson is "dipping" after it has been flushed!
6.)"trailor park" story... almost wet my pants laughing out loud!
Love you, Chris... and I cant wait for the Jones family to be Texans again!
Congratulations on the pregnancy! I definitely laughed as I imagined you barefoot and pregnant in a trailer park. I think Houston will be fun for you guys! We don't live too far from Houston, and although I never thought I would imagine myself saying this, I love it because there are so many fun things to take Jackson to do. What church are you guys going to?
I, too, can unfortunately relate to the sticking the hand in the toilet thing as well as all of the climbing. Jackson does both. Just the other day when I was in the kitchen, Jackson moved his "anywhere" chair onto the ledge on top of the fireplace and then stood on it so that he could grab things off of the mantle. Ridiculous!
Finally, I like the short haircut! You will be very thankful for that when you enter the world of Houston humidity!
I just moved myself and I can't imagine trying to do it with 2 little boys running around!
Did Cory get another youth ministry job or something else?
