Spring is in the air!!
I don't know about everyone else, but here in Richmond you can feel Spring coming. We had playgroup over at our house today and we stayed outside the whole time- which is really nice when you have 7 boys over! Spring also means baseball season- I love the sounds of the games going on in the field right behind our house. It really just makes me smile to pull up to the house at night and see the bright stadium lights through the trees. Now we just need to hurry up and grill out one night before the mosquitos come!
Anyways, thought I'd try a non-morbid post and share the latest photos of my munchkins. Little man (Titus) got his first haircut this past weekend. I was trying to hold out until he turned one but he was looking pretty shaggy. It's crazy how much older babies suddenly look when they get their first haircut. He just seems so much more grown up to me now. He pulls up on everything and cruises around the train table, but I still think it will be a while before he takes his first steps. His balance isn't that great yet. Right now he and Levi are "playing" Mr. Potato Head in Levi's room together just the two of them- so grown up! Titus is also a huge mooch and will scream at you if you've got food in your hand that he wants to try. And he does this thing when I get home from work where he flaps his arms and screams while trying to leap out of Cory's arms to get to me the second he sees me. I LOVE IT!
Big Man (Levi) is all into trying things by himself- from pouring his own milk to brushing his own teeth. He loves "reading" stories to us and making up his own songs. And he still steals your heart with little one-liners and questions about God and life. I love his sweet side- like when he sees an ant and says, "Momma please don't squish him because I'm going to take care of him." His ultimate favorite is still sports wrestling wiht Daddy, but a very close second is playing baseball. Hope you enjoy the pics.

They are SO cute! I wish Luke and Titus could play togather... they would have so much fun!
We had our first taste of spring this week, and it made me soooo happy! I can only imagine how eager you must be to get outside with your boys.
I'm having trouble coming to grips with how big Levi is. I'm used to seeing you with babies, but who is this big boy? Both of your little ones are too cute. I loved Titus' shaggy do. It looked like he was one of the kids in your youth group trying to grow his hair out. And are you saying you cut their hair? I'm impressed!
Great pictures! I love the one of you and Titus. Very sweet.
those are some cute kids you got there... love the dirt eating pics! I agree w/ Elisa... the one of you and Titus is super sweet... I love seeing you as a momma!
thanks for a much happier post! :o)
I am so impressed that you cut your boys' hair on your own! I just know I would seriously mess up Jackson's hair if I were to cut it! We would probably have to go back to bald! : )
Regarding your comment on my blog, good luck with the Omnicef! I know that it is a good drug, but those side effects are brutal. We tried feeding Jackson yogurt, but he really hates yogurt. I will have to remember the Florstar stuff though just in case the need should arise again. Also, I just wanted to let you know that we seriously had to get prescription diaper rash cream, so hopefully you won't have to make another trip back to the doctor for the diaper issues like we did. Jackson actually has freakishly sensitive skin though. That may have played a part. Hope Titus' ear infection goes away soon! Three weeks is a long time!
ok so I feel like I say this EVERY post...but I those boys of yours are cuties and growing up SO fast. Titus especially..I'm not sure I could recognize his now with his fuzz! love ya
