The most wonderful time of the year...
Well since my last post was from March I guess you could say I have quite a bit of updating to do. But before all that, I had to post about today's special events so I can log it into my online blog memory bank. The 2009-2010 school year started today and joining the class of 2022 is Levi Craig Jones!! Whoo-hoo!! Wait a sec, I have a kindergartnerer!! HELLO! When did that happpen? When did he grow up?!?
It was a family event this morning and I wasn't sure how my emotional stability would fair. The school is caticorner across an intersection from our church so we parked at the church and the whole fam walked Levi into Ms. Hegar's class. He was so excited and I must say I did great too. Not a single tear. I think it's because I know how ready he is for this, how smart he is and how successful he'll be in school, how hard he is to entertain at home these days, and how I can't stop him from growing up anyways! Plus walking in the RIDICULOUS heat and being signaled out and threatened by the police officer for jaywalking across the intersection kinda sucked the sentimental air out of the morning. :) But we still managed to get a few pics.

Sounds like a big day for everyone! He really is a big kid (and a cutie)!
So cute! That must be a surreal day for parents. His teacher looks young...or I am just getting old! ;)
Ahhh! I just saw you on the slingeeze website. So funny. You look great. I think that's your oldest in the sling...?
