A picture says a 1,000 words
A picture may say a 1,000 words but my blog updates usually say about 10 gazillion words but mostly because I use so many pictures...and this post does not disappoint! However according to Titus the picture below just says "Uh-oh paint." Last week Levi, Titus, and cousin Ty were playing upstairs while I was nursing Seth downstairs and having a coveted adult coversation with my sister. Suddenly Ty came running downstairs to inform us that "Titus poked a hole in the paint." We ran upstairs to find Titus in his closet holding a paint roller and using it like a broom to mop blue paint all over the carpet in his closet. Oh yeah and when we found him he just looked up and grinned.
Normally his closet is out of his reach due to the snazzy safety locks but Cory confessed that he had propped the door open the night before with the light on since the night-light was burnt out. I'm still not sure though how he opened a sealed can of paint. It's funny because I wasn't even mad, I just knew I should be and better react that way to make sure it didn't happen. But really I just found it funny. My first week home with three boys and all I could think of was this must be forshadowing of my life to come :) Sidenote: When I found out that Levi was responsible for the abstract wall art I was quickly motivated to add spankings to my fake display of anger because a 4 year old knows better!!! Plus I had already survived one adventure with Levi earlier that morning when he and Ty came in from outside to report that the worm they had found had broken in half after falling off the trampoline. ..And to think I didn't even know that worms like to jump! :) Again with the forshadowing.

Titus is definitely smitten with Seth. When he's not screaming "No LEVI," he's usually saying "Momma I hold baby Seth?"
So far I think Seth looks most like Titus but with Levi's coloring. His hair is kinda auburn with a stronger red tint in certain lights. We'll see if it stays- of course I would love another red head! I love the sweetness of this picture but it also makes me laugh to see Titus half naked because he looks so chunky. My boys always chunk up before hitting a growth spurt.
Seth's first Sunday at church at only 6 days old.
You can't really tell from teh picture but here Seth is wearing his favorite shirt. It says "My mom's a fox." It's really ridiculous how often he asks to wear it- kinda embarassing almost.:)
That's one full backseat in our Rodeo. I think I may have to switch Titus and Levi's positions as I caught Titus reaching over to feed Seth a peanut butter cracker the other day.
One of my favorite pics with my boys. This sling is how I tote Seth around on all of our outings. I love it because I still have two free hands, but I must say I do get some looks.

How do the kids always know when you are occupied doing other things. Our daughter always gets into stuff while I am nursing also.
Congrats on the new baby. You have a precious family.
Ask and you shall receive... I just commented a couple hours ago asking for pictures of your minchkins! Oh, they are so sweet... the half naked pic is one of my favorites... but I love them all... I especially love to read all your captions because I can hear your voice as I read them and I laugh out loud the whole time I am scrolling down... I love the paint story... I have a similar one from a few years ago, except they were painting with poop... gag...
It all brings back so many memories for me... not that I am that far from those times, but in some ways, it seems like those "new baby times" were long ago.... what fun these boys of our are!!
As always, I loved your update in pictures!!
Love you, Chris!
Seriously Chris I laughed out loud reading your post and the captions...dido to Summer I can totally hear the tone of your voice reading them, which is probably why I laugh even harder.
Fun kiddos those boys are! The naked picture of the boys cracks me up with Titus's clevage!
Great post! Boys are so crazy! I always carried Ryland around in a sling, too. I think those looks you're getting are not about the sling, it's about the plethora of little ones you have!
