It's the most wonderful time of the year.....

Anybody remember that commercial where the dad is shopping for school supplies with his moping kids and the above Christmas carol is playing in the background? So funny!! But I gotta be honest... as a youth minister's wife sometimes I feel like it is the most wonderful time of the year when the summer is over!!! I get my husband back and the boys get their Daddy back and trust me, that's even better than Christmas! :) No really, I do love youth ministry summers...the mission trips, the youth group bonding, all the inside jokes that get started. But I will say that summer 2008 will go down as one of the hardest- only because I had a little newborn that kept me home from all the trips, and a colicky newborn at that.

But little man Seth is over that hump and all grins now. He is just a chunky little bundle of smiles and laughs. Wegot the best pics of all three of them and especially Seth a few weeks ago. When I re-find the picture cd I'll have to post them, then all my readers can see for themselves why I can't stop squeezing my littlest guy.

Titus is a big two year old now and looking so cute in his big boy undies. That's right, another one bites the dust....Titus is potty trained. Whoo-hooo!!! OK OK well technically he's not 100% accident free- he has had a few accidents but it's only when he is wearing a pull-up or undies, which sounds strange I know. At home we leave him naked and he NEVER slips up. It's been over a week with no accidents...as long as he's in the buff that is. He tells us when he needs to go and even just takes himself half the time. So technically yes we still have a little work do to- either we need to keep those undies dry or get the laws changed on public nudity.
-That boy is just too cute. :)

Levi is getting ready to start pre-school and he is super excited. We went to Wal-mart tonight and got his backpack, lunchbox, and supplies. Surprisingly it didn't take too much convicing to sway him from the $8 dollar spiderman lunchbox to the $2 plain red lunchbox. Poor kid has a cheap-o for a mother, but in my defense red is his favorite color :) I just know that he definitely does not need any more superhero propaganda to boost his self-confident cool factor. The other day Cory went to workout at the YMCA and took the big boys with him to the kid care place. I let Levi wear his spiderman costume and when he got home the first thing he said was, "Momma it worked!" -What worked? I asked- "There was a boy at the YMCA and he said, 'Look there's Spiderman,' and then all the kids turned around and looked at me!!!" Then tonight we went out to eat and he was wearing his "sports shirt" for probably the third day in a row with his "sports shorts" and yankees baseball hat. As we were walking into the restaraunt he said, "When we go in everybody is going to see me and think I look like a baseball player." Good grief. Apparantly we need to back off on embedding self-confidence. At almost 5 years old he already thinks he's so cool the whole world is his papparazzi.
-But then again he's cute enough for it to be true. :)

Enjoy the pics.

I know I know- Poor Seth.

My Boys

Levi and Daddy doing their victory dance after beating Titus and myself in basketball. However my teammate spent a good bit of the game in time out so it was really quite unfair!

Frog kissing

Moments before it peed on Cory's hand!!

All smiles

Old pic of Seth from 2 months ago I never posted

Titus decided Seth's outfit needed some accessories and added this headband

Apparantly, he needs to focus less on Seth's accessories and more on the basic pieces of his outfit

Gotta be honest- my kids are half naked to fully naked most days.
1.) We're home and nobody sees us anyway
2.) It's freaking HOT here
3.) Cuts down on laundry:)

The "big boys"

Ignore the awkward pose and just focus on his cuteness!! :)

Oh my goodness, they are so cute - I would be kissing them all the time!! I am sure they have their "boy" moments too! What fun you have been up to! I miss getting to go school shopping and picking out a lunch box! The first day of school was always so great, then it all kinda went downhill! Sounds like you are never without some excitement around! Can't wait to see more pics!

Your boys are sooo cute!!! Well we just hit the colicky stage with Sophia and I am tired all the time. So when did Seth get through it??? I feel so bad for Faith cuz I am in a daze all day and she is so confused why. Hope PK goes well for Levi and you guys have a great weekend with daddy back.
