For all you Lost watchers out there, this date should mean something to you. And if you enjoy the show as much as I do it should send you into fits of rage. J/K. But seriously what the heck? I guess the producers thought that since they were putting on 16 new epsiosdes in a row we the viewers would overlook the tiny fact that we have to wait 2 1/2 months to see them. That didn't fly in our house! :) And what's the big deal with Jack telling Kate to run. I thought we had already established with Sawyer that there was no place to run...speaking of, who are you all routing for in that love triangle? I can't decide myself. (And I'm really feeling the pressure because what if the producers call me for my input and I haven't made up my mind yet! Personally I would probably choose Jack, but I think it' s cute the way Sawyer calls Kate, Freckles... Yes, I am aware that they are not real people!!)

The results are in. It looks like I got out-voted on the Brooklyn look-alike contest. How does that saying go- Mother knows best- so there I said it Jenn. But I do think Elisa brought up an excellent point in saying that Levi did not have his wings on for his picture..mmmm, maybe that could have swayed a few votes.

The Jones' are all set for a fun weekend. It's the first weekend in a while that we haven't had a youth group something or other. The pre-school at our church is doing a parent's night out fundraiser, so Cory and I are dropping off the kids and having a date! Then tomorrow my friend is throwing a big no-kids 30th birthday bash for her husband. That'll make two days in a row to have solo time with my husband- it's like Christmas. :) Cory and I have been doing a "Marriage Enrichment" seminar at church every Monday night for the past 4 weeks and it has been a huge blessing. It's pretty intense because you have homework to do all the time. And sometimes it's hard having another something on the to do list, but I do love the structure because it makes us take time out to just pay attention to eachother. I've even gotten flowers and little notes on the mirror sinc we've started the class, just because!

Gotta run. Titus is doing his fake cry for attention. :) Plus I'm trying to get a more efficient start to my morning. It's so crazy how opposite my days are. If I have to work that day I'm up showered, lunch packed, and out the door by 7:00am. But if I don't have to work I'm lucky if I am showered and have real clothes on by lunch. Sound familiar April? FYI: all you stay at home Moms- you should check out my sister April's blog (Ty's link) because she is living the life. Be forewarned it might make you jealous. Her husband just got a new job where he travels to schools all around doing motivational talks for kids to build their character while entertaining them with yo-yo tricks. Sweet, I know. The past few weeks she' s been traveling with him so she's gotten to see all kinds of cool places, taken Ty to so many fun things, veg out in hotel rooms with no responsibilties (ie: no cleaning the house), and eat out all the time (ie: no cookng or dishes to clean afterward!) Don't worry April when you come visit I'll put you to work and get you used to the real world again. :)

I wish more shows would do what Fox has done with 24. It totally sucks that I don't get to watch that show until January, but once it starts, it's all new for 24 straight weeks. They may pre-empt it for an awards show or a holiday, but it's back-to-back new episodes, and totally worth the wait until January. I assume ABC won't do that because LOST is such a ratings smash. However, I think the strategy is risky this year because LOST has been losing viewers and actually losing the timeslot battle to Criminal Minds. Will viewers find their way back after a three-month break, especially with a sexy Taye Diggs filling the break? Apparently all the good stuff we want to know is happening after the break.

LOST is driving me crazy!!! Why did they kill off Eko? Who are these new random castaways touring around with Locke? Why the heck are the others so wierd? Will we ever know what they are up to/ where they came from/ why they picked who they picked to do what? I just feel like there are WAY too many unaswered issues being presented and I am longing for the old carefree days when the biggest question was "why are we pushing this button?" Oh to be an ignorant beach fallen survivor again...

Chris did you know you can watch episodes of lost on ABC.com? I'm not a LOST fan but I love Grey's Anatomy!!!
If you ever miss an episode you can go to their website. Of course you have tivo now..so that won't be an issue. But let's say one day you lose power...then you could watch it later on tivo.

Did you get my message about NYC? Jeff has enough points for us to stay in a hotel in the middle of Time Square! He said that if we stayed somewhere different maybe we would have enough for 2 free nights? Do you think you could change your days at work? It would be awesome if we could go!!
They put up the Tree tonight (I heard it on the news)...Christmas in New York..how romantic! Can't wait to see you.
