T-shirt dresses and random pictures

So I know it's a little late to be posting Homecoming pictures, but we just got our film back. There's also a few shots of Titus with Grandma and Grandpa and cousin Brooklyn. I got to see my folks and sister Jennifer for like 3 hours before I flew back home. (FYI: The pictures don't do Brooklyn justice it was hard to catch both the little ones smiling at the same time- I've got a link to her blog to prove her cuteness.)

Before everybody looks at the pictures, I've got a question for you. What do you think of T-shirt dresses. You know the kind that have collars like a polo shirt but go to the knees instead of stopping at the waist? The reason I ask is because Cory and I have been doing a marriage class at church and it incorporates the book His Needs, Her Needs. (I need some help with my grammer, Elisa the English major. Do book titles get underlined or put in quotes?" Anyways, one of the needs discussed in the book is having an attractive spouse which can include clothing style. And apparantly my husband finds my style hideous!! Just kidding. He likes the way I dress except for these infamous t-shirt dresses. He's told me before he wasn't a fan but I didn't know how much he disliked them until our discussion the other night. He claims he doesn't know anyone else who even owns one! HA. Despite his harrassment I'm totally confidant in my fashion skills, see below in the picture of me and Jaime for proof of me "bringing it" in my late 90's puffy shirt.

In conclusion, I'm totally willing to throw out the t-shirt dresses especially since in turn he's agreeing to ditch his cargo jeans now that he's not 12 anymore!! :) I just thought it would be fun to take a poll of everyone's fashion sense. So T-shirt dresses, good? bad? indiffernet?

Now for the pictures....

Hottest GATA's in town!

Love this girl!

I highly recommend these babysitters :)

The Best family!

Seeing these girls was totally worth the trip!

Behind the scenes at the Titus and Korben photo shoot. (And you probably thought it was natural for 4 month old babies to sit upright with their arms around eahother!)

Giddy-up Maggie.

As you can tell Titus absoluetly hates this!

I think t-shirt dresses are probably out, but if it's comfy and you can pull it off, go for it! Enjoyed the pics!

I've always liked t-shirt dresses, but I don't think I've ever been able to pull off that look. But they always look cute in catalogs, so I think in general t-shirt dresses are cute. :-)

hate to break it to ya, but I think the tshirt dresses are pretty much out... but I wouldnt like laugh at you for wearing one or anything. Clint hates my overalls, I am sure they are out by now, too... but some things are just too comfy to give up! :-)
And I loved the pics... I want a copy of the one of our family. We never took one with our camera!

I'm jealous that you can TiVo LOST. Until my cable company fixes the station lineup problem, my TiVo doesn't recognize ABC. I actually wondered last night if you had gotten TiVo or DVR. And don't feel guilty about not exercising! I don't know how people with families fit exercise in.

I hate to break it to ya Chris by T-shirt dresses are SO jr high!! I had no idea you still owned one! It should only be worn in the protection of your own home...at that only at bed time as a night gown...somebody has got to give it to you straight. I've with Cory...BURN THEM!

The pictures of homecoming are halirous..the ones that have Titus in them. He looks like such a little rag doll in the poses with you and your friends especially after seeing the other pictures where he has SUCH a CUTE big SMILE!

Yeah, I like t-shirt dresses. I'm pretty sure that I had one in college that I cut off to be an actual t-shirt. (Now that's really scraping the bottom of the barrel-o-style.) But I admire your willingess to sacrifice your comfort for the marriage team. Don't even get me started on how picky Ryan is at times.

I love the pics!! You all look so pretty and happy, and it's fun to see all of those babies. I'm still suprised sometimes to realize that they actually belong to you girls! You're right - Brooklyn is really cute. She has such pretty, bright eyes.

p.s. Thanks for making me laugh. I love the bit about you "bringing it." You are sooo hip, girlfriend.

I personally have no opinion on the whole T-shirt dress thing, but I am sure my good friends Stacy and Clinton would have something to say about it. I could never wear them b/c on me they came to mid-shin and that was just not a happening kind of look. But I say go with what's comfy around the house and then if you go out you could make something happen. I will tell you something funny though, my aunt still wears clothes that I wore in junior high and gave to her when I outgrew them. So when you start wearing Brooklyn's junior high clothes, then I will be worried!! :)

Elementary teachers are known for our lack of style. And I hate to break it to you, but I haven't even seen one of us wearing those in the last 5 years. But to cheer you up, I will admit that I have one in my closet. I loved it in high school and still haven't parted with it. Just don't wear it anymore. :)
