I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

Well I have to admit that normally our lives are not so exciting that I will regularly have three posts in two days but this week seems to be the excpetion. The big news is that I had my job interview this morning and now I am officially a gainfully employed, contributing citizen of our society! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I have a real job :) I'll only be working two days a week at the most so I will still get to be a stay at home mom for the most part of the week. My official job title is PRN Occupational Therapist at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. Woo-hoo! It's where I did one of my Fieldworks so I know most of the staff on the Inpatient Rehab team already. And there are three other teams that I will be rotating between also- two Acute Care teams and possbily a brain injury unit. The great thing is my head boss is a christian and such a nice lady. I think it's going to be fairly doable to balance the whole work/family/ministry thing. And oh man, it is going to be such a perk being a two income family. We are going to try and still live like we just have one income and save...those of you that know my spending habits and love for buying clothes for my boys and myself are cracking up right now I know...but we are still going to try it! Anyways, I'm so excited so I just had to share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
O.K. O.K. now I'll try to upload more pictures of the boys. Most of them will be from Levi's buddy Sammy's birthday party. Sammy confused his parents by insiting on a "red" birthday party theme. Being a GATA girl I thought the idea made perfect sense. Red is Best!! :)

P.S. If you get a chance check out Cory's blog he's got some neat posts from today.

Congrats on the job! You'll be a great OT! Seems like a perfect fit with the part time and the Christian boss. My sister works on the brain injury team as a PT at TIRR.

YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you. I can't wait to hear more about your job. Working part-time has been so perfect for us. I love getting to go to work a little bit, but mostly be home with my fellas. I hope it is great for you, too.

Can you leave me a post on my blog about putting the boys in a real bathtub. I've been really wanting to get rid of the infant tub- Korben is way outgrowing it and love to splash and play which is somewhat inhibited by the space issue, but I'm nervous about the big tub. Any tips? How much water, etc- can you tell I'm a first time mom?

Great news! What a blessing to have the best of both worlds. (Like funny, sweet boys and a little extra cash on the side.) What does PRN stand for? I hope you enjoy the time out on your own and doing what you've worked so hard to be able to do. I bet that you will.

That looks like a fun birthday party. What a sweet and chunky baby! Thanks for sharing. Keep it up!

I'm off to Cory's blog now.

Send over the pot roast recipe. It's not really ideal cooking for one, but I'll give it a try. Especially if it's easy.
