October...where did it go?
Good grief I knew my blog post frequency had slowed down a bit but I didn't know my last post was in September. Yikes. So what happend to October? Mmmm let me check my planner...a survey mission trip to Honduras, a week in California at a youth minister's conference, a momma and boys road trip to visit my grandparents in Oklahoma, and a high school retreat over Halloween weekend! Whew! Then you throw in a little strep throat action, a horrible mastitis infection I wish on no one, ongoing attempts at teaching Titus to potty train even WHILE wearing clothing, Levi's weekly Tae Kwon Do lessons, me working at the hospital, Cory obsessing over politics due to no Yankees in the playoffs, Seth learning to crawl and pull up to stand and then TA-DA.... you have yourself a Jones October! :) I wouldn't trade it.
The biggest surprise of October was how my Halloween costume turned into a life changing revelation. The whole fam dressed up this year because it was the same weekend as our highschool retreat and we had a costume party the first night. I was recovering from strep throat and feeling not that great- so I went for an easy costume. I threw on an old maternity shirt, stuffed a pillow in and went as a pregnant lady. (The funny thing was a few people didn't even notice. I tried not to be offended since I've was pregnant for the majority of our first year here. :) ) But I discovered something while in costume...I think three kids is just the right size family for me! You know I have always wanted 4 kids but I couldn't even handle a fake 4th pregnancy...toting Seth around and trying to manage the big boys myself while Cory was in youth minister mode all with an obtrusive pregnant belly and an achy body (from the strep throat) pretty much has me convinced I'm not cut out for 4! So Kudos to you Summer!! :)
Cory was Jim as Dave from the office, Levi was a robot, Titus was a Yankees player, and Seth was the cutest Lion you ever did see!
Told ya- pretty cute huh!

Oh, how I love me an update for you, Chris! So much to say...
1. You could totally do 4 kids... no pressure at all, but it is a little more worth it all when you have a baby in there, not a pillow... and the boys will be big enough to "help out" this time around (do it, do it, do it) like I said, no pressure
2. That IS the cutest little lion!!! so sweet!
3. I love reading your sarcasm. I can see your grin and hear your giggle as I read
4. The pic of Seth pulled up is a spitting image of big Core... I think it is the expression on his face... so cute!
5. Levi is huge!! When did that happen? And I love Titus' baby doll! Even if she was stolen!
6. Love the "Christina has the lingest arms, so let her take the self-photo" pic of you and Cory. You 2 are too cute!
7. I have had strep, too... yukk! Momma dont have time to be sick, who missed that memo?!
Love you, Chris! When are you going to come back thru austin?! Call me!!
One word dude: FINALLY! Well, maybe I should reserve that for Mel if we ever see pics of GCH, but I am so glad to finally have updates! My version of "update" was Cory's little blip on facebook about you and Levi not being sick but then Titus was. It is good to see you had a good and busy month and sorry about all the sickness. (And for a minute there I thought you were gonna say that you're pregnant) But I am glad to have you back on blogger!! And your boys are so stinking cute - I don't know how you stand it! Miss you girl!
You have a wonderful family and you look beautiful, hope all is well.
Glad you finally posted! Your boys are so, so cute. I loved the picture of Seth in his lion costume!
His baby doll wouldn't be named after his cousin would it?
Well, not that I am up for 4 kids, but your kids are just so cute! I think you should keep going... :) Ha! I LOVE the lion costume. He is adorable!!!
